This spot was great. Me and my husband went in at around 9:30. Got to rent a jet ski for $350 plus $15 per hour for fuel. Mind you this was on a Monday morning and it was for 2 hours. The jet skis where in good condition the staff was friendly. We were able to roam the entire lake (Emerald Bay). We also got off and took a nice dip in the water which was super clean and great temperature. Ski Run Marina offers boat rides as well and they welcome pets on the boats. We wanted to try the food place there but it was an hour wait. Would recommend however get there early or reserve ahead of time
A cluster of places to rent boats/kayaks/paddle boards, a place to eat and shops. Also a nice place to watch sunset.
My boyfriend and I have rented jet skis out from this marina multiple times. The staff has been friendly and extremely knowledgeable with all of the questions asked. Every time we want to rent a jet ski on short notice they have always had one for us. We will continue to do our business here. The staff is so friendly and funny. Not to mention the jet skis are always in good condition few scruffs here and there but overall in good shape. Ya, they are a little strict on the beach area there's a section that's " private" and one that's not. Not a huge deal the private beach is for the hotel guests which is understandable.
We just stopped for sightseeing & quick photos. I must say, views are nice & cute little beach (mini man made of course) vibe to it - even in the winter. Read the reviews & am glad we didn't ride the boats, but other than that & the limited parking (for such a huge scenic point) it was pleasant to the eyes. Beautiful views & lots of photo & selfie opps. They have restaurants & shops as well as equipped with restrooms. Can't imagine how nice it is in the warmer months, but I can clearly see how crowded it must get, which is why you should plan going to very early.
Another night of Hannukah and another happy and festive Menorah lighting! I enjoyed meeting new friends and running into a couple old ones. Thank You Rabbi Richler (and family) for organizing this most pleasant and ruach-filled event!
